What are the differences between using the site with or without a member account?

In short:

We created member account features for a better user experience and more options.

In detail:

With a member account you can:

• Preview a card before sending it.
• Easily manage an addressbook, which can contain up to 10 contacts.
• Add birthdays to your calendar and optionally get a reminder email sent to you when someone is almost celebrating his/her birthday.
• View the cards you have sent in the last 30 days ("Card History").
• Cancel the delivery of scheduled cards (cards for which you have chosen to not be sent immediately). We are not able to cancel scheduled cards which were sent without a member account.
• Order a personalized birthday song, professionally recorded for the recipient (optional) when you send a Singing & Dancing card.

Other than that, there is a difference in the way cards are delivered to the recipient(s). When you send a card (with or without an account), you have the option to include a personal message for the recipient.

If you send the card without a member account, the personal message will be displayed in the email that's being sent to the recipient. The email will also include a link to the card on the website (which doesn't display the personal message).

If you send the card with a member account, the personal message is not being displayed in the email, but underneath the card on the website instead, which in our experience is what most people prefer.
